Usage

Eulexin (Flutamide) tablet, in combination with other therapies, is a treatment option for men with some types of prostate cancer. Flutamide is used together with an injection called “LHRH agonist”, as a combined treatment, called “total androgen blockade”. The goal of this treatment is to reduce androgen levels and to block the effect of androgen on the tumor. The LHRH agonist reduces androgen levels. Flutamide therapy blocks the effect of androgen on the tumor. Take this medication by mouth with or without food.

Side Effects and Precautions

The common Eulexin side effects may include black, tarry stools; bloody or cloudy urine; continuing diarrhea; continuing stomach pain; difficult, burning, or painful urination; frequent urge to urinate; pale skin; troubled breathing with exertion; unusual bleeding or bruising; unusual tiredness or weakness.

Stop using Eulexin and contact your doctor right away if you have any of the serious side effects such as:
• A breast lump;
• Confusion;
• Fast heartbeat at rest;
• Feeling short of breath at rest;
