Usage

Simbrinza Ophthalmic Drops (Brinzolamide/ Brimonidine) is a prescription combination medication that is used to decrease pressure inside the eye by reducing the amount of fluid in the eye. This medication is used to treat open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension (high pressure inside the eye). Brinzolamide belongs to a class of drugs known as carbonic anhydrase inhibitors. Brimonidine belongs to a class of drugs known as alpha agonists. You may help reduce the risk of vision loss, nerve damage, or blindness by lowering high blood pressure. Simbrinza Ophthalmic is not recommended for use in kids that are younger than 2 years of age due to serious side effects such as slow breathing.

Side Effects and Precautions

Signs of Simbrinza (brinzolamide/ brimonidine) allergy: difficulty breathing, hives (rash on your body), swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat—If you experience any of these symptoms, please call 911 or seek emergency medical care at the nearest emergency room (ER).

The common side effects of Simbrinza drops may include blurred vision, dizziness, dry eyes, dry mouth, eye discomfort, tiredness, unusual taste in your mouth. The serious side effects may include:
