Usage

Onbrez breezhaler (Indacaterol) is a prescription medication that makes breathing easier for people who have breathing difficulties due to lung diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), including chronic bronchitis and emphysema. The active ingredient in Onbrez breezhaler is Indacaterol. Indacaterol belongs to a class of drugs called long-acting beta2-agonist (LABA). It works by relaxing the muscles in the lungs, making it easier for air to get in and out of the lungs. Indacaterol can start to work within 5 minutes of inhalation, and its effects can last up to 24 hours.

Side Effects and Precautions

The common side effects of Onbrez Breezhaler are back pain, dysphonia, sore throat, swollen lips, running nose, headache, and metallic taste in the mouth.

Stop using Onbrez Breezhaler and contact your doctor right away if you have any of the severe side effects such as:
• Palpitations;
• Signs of a severe allergic reaction, including abdominal cramps, breathing difficulties, swelling of the face, mouth, and throat;
• Swollen hands, ankles, and feet;
• Tightness of the chest, coughing, wheezing, or breathlessness immediately after inhalation;
• Wheezing

Warnings and Interactions

Before using this inhaler, inform your doctor if you are allergic to it or using other similar medication. Use Onbrez breezhaler as prescribed by your doctor. Inhale the contents of one capsule through the mouth each day. Only use the capsules with the inhaler that comes with it. Do not swallow the capsules. It would be best to know that Onbrez Breezhaler does not relieve sudden symptoms of COPD, and the effects of Onbrez breezhaler usually lasts for 24 hours. The capsules should remain in the blister until you need to use them. Dispose of each inhaler after you use all the capsules. COPD is a long-term disease; you should use your inhaler every day, not only when you have breathing problems or other symptoms of COPD. Inform your doctor if your symptoms (including breathlessness, wheezing, cough) do not improve or if they worsen during your treatment with Onbrez Breezhaler.

You should not use Onbrez breezhaler if you are allergic to Indacaterol or any ingredient in Onbrez breezhaler.

Before you start using Onbrez Breezhaler, inform your doctor about your medical history, especially if you have:
• Asthma or other respiratory diseases;
• Diabetes mellitus;
• Epilepsy or seizure disorder;
• Heart diseases such as hypertension;
• Kidney problems;
• Liver problems;
• Thyroid gland disorders such as thyrotoxicosis

Tell your doctor about all your medications, including prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, herbal products, and vitamin supplements. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. It is unknown if Onbrez breezhaler will harm your fetus. Your doctor will discuss the risks and benefits of using Onbrez Breezhaler during pregnancy. Inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding or planning to breastfeed. It is not known if Indacaterol passes into breast milk or if it may affect a nursing infant. However, it is advisable not to use the inhaler around a newborn to avoid coughing. There may be a drug interaction between Onbrez Breezhaler and other drugs such as umeclidinium bromide/vilanterol inhaler and vilanterol/fluticasone furoate inhaler.
