CanadaPharmacyOnline.com currently offers the brand Zyvoxam from Canada manufactured by Pfizer. The generic Linezolid also, known as Zyvox in the US, comes from Canada and is manufactured by Apotex and Sandoz. We also carry the generic Linezolid from India also called Linospan by Cipla.

Dosage

The brand Zyvoxam and the generic Linezolid is available in the strength of 600 mg tablets only.

Usage

Zyvoxam ( Linezolid ) is an oxazolidinone antibiotic that fights bacteria in the body. Linezolid is also an MAO inhibitor used to treat different types of bacterial infections, such as pneumonia, skin infections, and infections that are resistant to other antibiotics. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Antibiotics such as linezolid will not work for colds, flu, and other viral infections. Use Zyvoxam exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor. Do not use in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended. Keep using the medication as directed and tell your doctor if your symptoms do not improve.

Side Effects and Precautions

The common side effects of Zyvoxam are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, skin rash, anemia, headache, dizziness, stomach pain, change in the way things taste, itching, white patches in the mouth, irritation, burning, or itching of the vagina, change in color of the tongue or teeth. Report any new or worsening symptoms to your doctor.
