Product Details

Ultibro Breezhaler (Indacaterol/Glycopyrronium Bromide) is a prescription combination medication that is used for the maintenance treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), including emphysema and chronic bronchitis. This medication should be used regularly in order for it to be effective. Glycopyrronium belongs to the group of medications known as anticholinergics. Indacaterol belongs to the group of medications known as long acting bronchodilators. These two medications work in different ways to relax the muscles in the walls of the small air passages in the lungs, keeping the air passage open so it is easier to breathe.

Side Effects and Precautions

The common side effects of Ultibro Breezhaler may include cough, diarrhea, difficulty falling sleep, dizziness, dry mouth, headache, heartburn, nausea, shakiness, skin rash, itchiness, sore mouth, sore throat, upset stomach, vomiting. The serious side effects may include:
• Feeling of pressure or pain cheeks or forehead;
• Fever;
• High blood pressure;
• Irregular heartbeat;
• Pain in muscles, joints or bones;
• Sign of glaucoma;
• Sign of high blood sugar;
• Sign of a urinary tract infection;
• Tingling or numbness

You should not use Ultibro Breezhaler if you are allergic to Indacaterol or Glycopyrronium Bromide. Before you start using this medication, talk to your doctor about your medical conditions and about all the medications that he is currently taking including OTC and herbal medications. There may be an interaction between Glycopyrronium-Indacaterol and other medications such alfuzosin, amantadine, amiodarone, atomoxetine, azelastine, betahistine, donepezil, levodopa, tacrolimus, vardenafil, venlafaxine.
