Fetzima Indications  

Fetzima is an oral prescription drug used to treat major depressive disorder or MDD among adults. This drug helps improve appetite, sleep, and mood while restoring interest in daily living. This is not indicated for fibromyalgia.

Fetzima Dosage Forms   

This is available in Fetzima 20 mg, 40 mg, 80 mg, and 120 mg extended-release capsules.

Fetzima Mechanism of Action  

There is still no exact information about the exact action of this SNRI. Despite this, it is thought to increase serotonergic and noradrenergic activity in the central nervous system. As a result, serotonin and norepinephrine levels rise, which are both involved in depression.
