Dymista Nasal Spray Information:

Dymista (Generic name: Azelastine Hydrochloride and Fluticasone Propionate) is a new nasal spray used for the relief of symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) in patients 12 years of age and older. Dymista has a dual action. It contains two active ingredients, azelastine hydrochloride (an antihistamine) and fluticasone propionate (a corticosteroid). Azelastine works by blocking certain natural substances called histamines that are responsible for allergic symptoms. Fluticasone works by reducing swelling and inflammation in the nasal passages. Brand Dymista is manufactured by Meda Pharms in United State, available in 137 mcg/50 mcg. Generic Azelastine Fluticasone is also called Ezicas AZ made by Intas in India, available in 140 mcg/50mcg/70 dose.

Dymista Nasal Spray Side Effects:

The most common Dymista side effects are changes in taste, drowsiness, mild nosebleeds, nasal dryness, irritation, etc. If you are experiencing any severe side effects such as headache, nosebleeds, pain in nose, signs of infection, unusual tiredness, vision problems, weight loss, and serious allergic reaction (e.g., difficult breathing, hives, rash, swelling of the face, lips, throat or tongue), please inform your doctor immediately.

Do not take Dymista if you are allergic to azelastine or fluticasone or if you have any other allergies.
