Indications

Coreg is a medication that contains the active ingredient carvedilol. Coreg is a beta-blocker drug used to treat a variety of conditions related to heart function, including high blood pressure, heart failure, and left ventricular dysfunction following a heart attack.

Coreg works by blocking certain receptors on nerve cells and causing blood vessels to dilate, thereby helping to lower blood pressure and improve blood flow through arteries and veins.
