Desyrel is an oral prescription drug used to treat patients who have been clinically diagnosed with major depressive disorder or MDD.

This medication helps improve appetite, mood, and energy levels. This is not approved for use by patients younger than the age of 18.

Desyrel Mechanism of Action

The exact action of this antidepressant is not fully known.
