Indications

Viread is an antiviral medication used to treat human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) while preventing them from spreading and developing into acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS).

Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate is an antiviral drug that inhibits the activity of HIV-1 and HBV reverse transcriptase. This action helps prevent the spread of HIV and HBV cells while affecting their DNA structures. Thanks to this, Viread can treat infections and help prevent the development of AIDS.
