Orudis (Ketoprofen) is a prescription medication used to relieve pain or inflammation caused by arthritis. Arthritis is the swelling and tenderness of one or more joints. The symptoms of arthritis are joint pain and stiffness, which worsen with age. This drug also treats menstrual pain, soft tissue injuries like sprains and strains, backaches, and swelling. The active ingredient in Orudis is Ketoprofen. Ketoprofen belongs to a class of medicines called Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It works by stopping the body’s production of the substance that causes pain, fever, and inflammation.
