Indications
Nitoman is a medication used to treat involuntary movements caused by Huntington’s disease.
Tetrabenazine alters the levels of natural substances in your brain and central nervous system that control muscle movement. Thanks to these effects, Nitoman helps prevent involuntary movements called chorea that are caused by Huntington’s disease.

The dose of Nitoman that is prescribed will vary depending on the individual being treated and the severity of their unwanted muscle movements. - Most adults take an initial 12.5mg 2 to 3 times daily
- The dose can slowly increase by 12.5mg a day in weekly intervals until you reach an effective and tolerable dose
- Most patients will tolerate up to 25mg taken three times daily
- If your treatment is interrupted for more than five days, you should start at a lower dose and increase to your normal dosage
- Store at room temperature away from children and pets
