K-Dur (Potassium Chloride) Medication Information

Uses

K-Dur is a potassium supplement used to treat low potassium levels. 

Dosage

The tablets are available in several different strengths:

  • 8 mEq
  • 10 mEq
  • 20 mEq

Side Effects

The most common side effects of K-Dur include:

  • High potassium
  • Constipation
  • Ulcer
  • Gastrointestinal perforation

High levels of potassium can cause heart arrhythmias.
