Usage

Celluvisc Eye Drops (Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium 1%) is an over-the-counter medication used as a tear substitute to treat symptoms of dry eye including soreness, burning, irritation, or dryness caused by not enough tears production to keep the eye wet. The active ingredient in Celluvisc Eye Drops is Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium 1%. Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium belongs to the class of medication called ocular lubricant. It works by forming a viscous eye gel via the carmellose sodium solution. It produces a transparent, lubricating, and moistening film on the surface of the eyes.

The common side effects of Celluvisc Eye Drops are irritation of the eyes (including burning and discomfort), eye pain, itchy eyes, and visual disturbance.
Stop using Celluvisc Eye Drops and contact your doctor right away if you have any of the serious side effects such as:
• Continued eye redness;
• Severe pain, burning, and stinging sensation after applying the eye drops;
• Worsening sight
