Vivelle Dot (Estradiol-17B) is used to treat certain symptoms of menopause such as hot flashes, vaginal dryness, burning and irritation. It may also be used to prevent postmenopausal osteoporosis, or to treat ovarian disorders. Vivelle Dot works by releasing estrogen through the skin into the bloodstream.

You should not use Vivelle Dot if you are allergic to estradiol or if you are pregnant.
