Usage

Xylocaine (Lidocaine) is a type of anesthetic, which is a type of drug used for numbing. It is used to numb any area of your body in order to help reduce the amount of pain during surgery and other medical procedures such as having a catheter inserted. It is also injected to reduce the pain of labor contractions, known as an epidural. The active ingredient is called lidocaine, and this drug works by blocking nerve signals in the body.
