Arthrotec is a combination medication of diclofenac and misoprostol. Diclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis in people who are at high risk of developing stomach or intestinal ulcers. It works to reduce substances in the body causing pain and inflammation, as well as utilizing the misoprostol to reduce stomach acid and replace protective substances in the stomach that are reduced by the use of NSAIDs.

We currently stock the brand name medication, Arthrotec, manufactured by Pfizer, as well as the generic equivalent, Diclofenac/Misoprostol in two dosages: 50mg/200mcg and 75 mg/200mcg. They are available from the United Kingdom in quantities of 60, or from Canada in quantities of 200.
Contact your doctor right away if you experience any of the following serious side effects:
• Any sign of allergic reaction;
o Sneezing;
o Runny or stuffy nose;
o Wheezing or trouble breathing;
o Hives;
o Swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat;
• Signs of a heart attack or stroke;
o Chest pain spreading to the jaw or shoulder;
o Sudden numbness or weakness on one side of the body;
o Slurred speech;
o Feeling short of breath;
• Signs of skin rash, not matter how mild;

• Signs of stomach bleeding;
o Bloody or tarry stools;
o Coughing up blood;
o Vomit that loos like coffee grounds;

Customer Precautions
Do not use Arthrotec if you are pregnant or nursing. This medication can cause birth defects, miscarriage, premature labor, or rupture of the uterus. Declofenac can increase the risk of fatal heart attack or stroke, especially in patients who use it long-term, in high doses, or who have had a history of heart disease. Do not use this medication just before or after heart bypass surgery. You should not take this medication if you have active bleeding in the intestines or stomach, as it could cause or make stomach or intestinal bleeding worse, which could be fatal, especially in older adults.
