Bepreve (Bepotastine Besilate) Product Information

Bepreve is a prescription medication for treatment of eye itching and irritation. If you suffer from eye problems due to allergies, then your doctor can prescribe Bepreve Ophthalmic Solution. Being an antihistamine, Bepreve is able to relieve eye itching. Histamine is a chemical that naturally causes inflammation in the body. It produces symptoms such as watery eyes and itching.

Also called bepotastine, Bepreve is in the form of eye drops and does not treat any other type of eye infection. That’s why you need to see your eye doctor first, because they can differentiate between an actual eye infection caused by allergies and the type caused by wearing contact lenses.
