Usage

Drysol (Aluminum chloride) is used to treat very bad sweating (hyperhidrosis). Drysol contains a unique ingredient which is clinically proven to be the most effective for controlling sweat. The product does not contain specific ingredients that can cause irritation and adverse reactions to the skin. Do not apply to broken, irritated or recently shaved skin. Once excessive sweating is reduced (usually after 3 days) reduce application to once or twice a week. Apply to dry skin only. Wait at least 2 hours after bathing or showering to apply Drysol. Use a hair dryer (cool setting) to completely dry the skin before application.

Side Effects and Precautions

• Burning;
• Itching;
• Prickling sensation;
• Stinging

• Signs of an allergic reaction, like rash; hives; itching; red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin with or without fever; wheezing;
tightness in the chest or throat; trouble breathing, swallowing, or talking; unusual hoarseness; or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat;
• Very bad skin irritation.

• An allergy to aluminum chloride hexahydrate or any other part of Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate);
• Are allergic to Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate); any part of Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate); or any other drugs, foods, or substances. Tell your doctor about the allergy and what signs you had.

If Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) is swallowed, call a doctor or poison control center right away. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan on getting pregnant. You will need to talk about the benefits and risks of using Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) while you are pregnant. Tell your doctor if you are breast-feeding. You will need to talk about any risks to your baby.
