Usage

Prezista (Darunavir) is a prescription medicine used with other antiretroviral drugs to treat patients living with human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1). The active ingredient in the Prezista tablet is Darunavir. Darunavir belongs to the class of antiretroviral drugs called Protease inhibitors. It works by reducing the amount of HIV in your body. Reducing the amount of HIV in your blood improves your immune system and reduces the risk of developing illnesses resulting from HIV infection.

The common side effects of Prezista are anorexia, rash, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and headache.
