Corlanor, generic name ivabradine, is typically prescribed to reduce the risk of hospitalization due to worsening heart failure in adults with symptomatic chronic heart failure with reduced ventricular ejection fraction.

Corlanor is also used to treat stable symptomatic heart failure caused by dilated cardiomyopathy among pediatric patients who are 6 months of age and above.

Corlanor is classified as a hyperpolarization-activated cyclic nucleotide-gated (HCN) channel blocker. This type of medication mainly works by regulating heart rate and prolonging diastolic time.

Corlanor (ivabradine) Uses and Dosage
