International online pharmacies are not permitted to ship Syndros 5 mg/mL internationally.

According to PharmacyChecker International Pharmacy Verification Program (IPVP) standards, pharmacies located outside the United States “may not market, sell, process and/or dispense prescription orders for controlled substances, as defined U.S. law, federal and/or state, to patients in the U.S. Pharmacies located within the U.S. marketing, selling, processing and/or dispensing prescription orders for controlled substances must possess a valid U.S. DEA Registration.”.

The U.S. Controlled Substance Act places all substances that are, in some manner, regulated under existing federal law into one of five schedules (i.e., I – V). This placement is based upon a substance’s medical use, potential for abuse, and safety or dependence liability.

The Ryan Haight Online Pharmacy Consumer Protection Act of 2008 amended the U.S. Controlled Substances Act to prohibit the delivery, distribution, or dispensing of a controlled substance that is a prescription drug over the Internet without a valid prescription.

Syndros has been identified by PharmacyChecker as a medication that may require cold chain management during shipment to maintain efficacy and safety.

To ensure the cold chain integrity of insulin and other refrigerated pharmaceutical products both domestically and internationally, accredited dispensing pharmacies must ensure manufacturer-specific storage and shipping requirements. The US version of Dronabinol capsules should be refrigerated, but could be stored up to 15 °C (59°F) without refrigeration. Long-term storage of the US version of Syndros requires refrigeration.

The PharmacyChecker International Pharmacy Verification Program (IPVP) enforces rigorous standards for the international shipment of products requiring refrigeration. Only PharmacyChecker-accredited dispensing pharmacies located in Tier 1 countries that also hold PharmacyChecker cold chain certification are authorized to internationally dispense and/or ship refrigerated products.

Online pharmacies partnering with accredited dispensing pharmacies that meet cold-chain certification requirements may list prices for refrigerated medications under the "International Price Comparison" tab.

Pharmacies listing refrigerated product prices on PharmacyChecker.com must demonstrate ongoing compliance with IPVP cold chain certification requirements.

We strongly recommend patients avoid ordering refrigerated medications—or any medicines—online from websites that are not verified by the PharmacyChecker International Pharmacy Verification Program or another comparable verification program.
