About brand names Jakafi/Jakavi (ruxolitinib):

Jakafi is the U.S. brand name for ruxolitinib, a prescription medicine used to treat conditions such as myelofibrosis, polycythemia vera, and certain forms of graft-versus-host disease.

Outside the United States, the same active ingredient is commonly marketed as Jakavi by Novartis under an exclusive license from Incyte, which markets Jakafi in the United States.
