More California Drug Savings Options

We found a few options for savings in the Sunshine State that may help patients save big.

•    California Drug Savings Card — You and your family have access to this California-wide Prescription Assistance Program (PAP). All Californians are eligible to get pharmacy discounts that may provide savings on prescriptions not covered by your health insurance or Medicare Part D. The program may also be used instead of your insurance coverage when it offers greater savings than your copay, which is the case more often than you think!

•    Medi-Cal — Medi-Cal is California's Medicaid program which provides health care services for low-income individuals including families with children, seniors, persons with disabilities, foster care, pregnant women, and low-income people with specific diseases such as tuberculosis, breast cancer or HIV/AIDS.

•    MCAP — MCAP provides pregnant women with comprehensive coverage for a low cost with no copayments or deductibles for its covered services. MCAP is for middle-income families who do not have health insurance and whose income is too high for no-cost Medi-Cal.

•    Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) — California families with uninsured children can receive health insurance through CHIP. To qualify, a child must be age 18 or younger, a California resident and a U.S citizen or legal permanent resident. The citizenship or immigration status of the parents does not affect the children's eligibility and is not reported on the application form. The program provides great benefits regular checkups, dental care and prescription medication coverage.

Verified Online Pharmacies

Californians can often save around 90% off their medication bills by shopping internationally. Millions of Americans order their medication online each year. Since 2003, PharmacyChecker.com has been helping Californians find the lowest drug prices online from licensed pharmacies in Canada and other countries. A doctor in Sacramento recently recommended our verification and price comparisons:

"Our patients are held hostage by these outrageous pharmaceutical costs in the US. I am grateful to have discovered PharmacyChecker as well, as are my patients. Last week, I saw one of my patients who is an RN with Parkinson's disease; she was in the 'donut hole' with Medicare and no longer able to afford her medications. Because of PharmacyChecker, she is now back on her meds. She is telling all of her friends about your website. Your work makes a huge difference in the world."

We provide a list of online pharmacies verified by PharmacyChecker with the lowest drug prices that meet critical safety standards to protect patient health when buying medication online. You can also compare prices among those online pharmacies on PharmacyChecker.com!
