If you are considering purchasing medication from outside the U.S., be aware that, in most circumstances, it is technically not legal for individuals to import prescription drugs; however, U.S. government officials have stated that individuals who order non-controlled prescription drugs from Canada or other foreign sources (up to a three-month supply) for their own use are not being pursued or prosecuted.
Why isn't my medication listed on PharmacyChecker.com?
There are a few different reasons you may not be able to find price comparisons for your particular prescription on our website.
The medication is not available at any of our international online pharmacies
None of the international online pharmacies in our program currently carry your prescription medication.
You perhaps entered the medication name with an incorrect spelling
When using PharmacyChecker.com to find international online pharmacies and compare drug prices, it is important to make sure you enter the correct spelling of the medication name. You may have difficulty finding the medication if any letter or space is incorrect.
The medication is defined by the U.S. DEA as a controlled substance
If this is the case, PharmacyChecker-verified international online pharmacies do not dispense controlled substances, such as Xanax, Valium, Vicodin, and Adderall, to U.S. consumers. However, you may be able to use a tool on our website to search for a coupon to use at a U.S. pharmacy in your neighborhood. To print out a coupon, search for your drug, click on the button to "Search Local U.S. Pharmacy." Type in your zip code, and print out applicable coupon to save money on your prescription at your local pharmacy.
Pharmacies located within the U.S. that dispense controlled substances over the Internet must comply with the Ryan Haight Online Pharmacy Consumer Protection Act of 2008. This legislation was designed to combat rogue internet pharmacies from selling controlled substances online without requiring a prescription.
